BADGER WATCHING

Meet as directed by telephone or ticket. Cordless headphones are issued which give an instructive commentary on badgers in general and on these in particular.

In the nearby weatherproof hide seats are provided which give a ground level view. It is likely that above ground badgers will be seen as they emerge from their natural home to forage on the forest floor. Below that, the hide fronts on to glass-walled viewing setts into which these wild badgers may venture during the evening. Either way they will be seen in remarkable close-up.

Since 1991 public access in this way to a natural environment which is so private and elusive has been a worldwide first and is a unique experience for all lovers of nature; providing a memory high point for a holiday or for an anniversary celebration, or for a school, club or other group outing.
